We love drones. From our very first task back in 2018 for an Ed Sheeran music video, we've continually invested in the latest technology. From the smallest, lightest DJI drones to the heavy lift Freefly Alta X, we have every option for both live and recorded output.

We are CAA approved and hold an Operation Authorisation for working in congested areas, day and night.

We also operate under a CAA Operating Safety Case permission for certain tasks, with our separation minimums reduced to just six metres.

The Drones

Freeefly Alta X with MoVi Pro

We operator the Freefly Alta X with a MoVi Pro gimbal for large sensor cinematography and live work. The Alta X is an absolute powerhouse, but also very quiet with its large diameter, quad-rotor design. It will comfortably fly all the current small form cinema cameras, and a broad range of prime and zoom lenses are available depending on your requirements.

We have a great deal of live sport experience, including ten years of covering both the Grand National and University Boat Race. Our Alta X is configurable for live work with a Sony P50 HDR 4K camera and Fujinon 6x zoom lens. We send that output direct to the production gallery over a Vislink H265/HEVC broadcast link.

We have the option for remote racking as well, giving vision engineers complete control and the ability to colour match us to the other cameras.

We’re green too. No noisy, dirty generators – just battery systems and on-site charging that powers everything for a full day’s output.

DJI Inspire 3 with RTK

This incredible drone delivers true cinema image quality in a small, lightweight package and has become the standard for drama and feature film work.

Our Inspire 3 kit comes with the DJI Zenmuse X9 8K FF/S35 camera and a complete set of prime ASPH lenses – DL18, 24, 35 & 50mm. It has dual, independent pilot and camera operator transmitters, ProRes & RAW recording licenses, two media cards and 10 flight batteries. Our kit also includes the DJI D-RTK2 that gives 5cm accuracy for exact positioning time and time again. Used in conjunction with Dolly Mode, the shot options are endless.

This package is also suitable for live output, delivering shots in progressive format that can then be converted to interlaced as required.

DJI Mavic 4 Pro

The latest addition to our fleet, the DJI Mavic 4 Pro is the ‘go-to’ drone for high end drama work in congested areas. Flying in Cinematic mode reduces our ‘uninvolved separation’ to only six metres which makes task and flight planning a breeze. A worthy successor to the Mavic 3 Cine, it pushes both image quality and functionality to new levels. As well as a Hasselblad 6K sensor at 28mm, it now offers truly beautiful 4k output on a 70mm lens which open up more cinematic shooting options including shallow DOF and parallax imagery. Combined with the new DJI RC Pro 2, it’s an absolute beast and with the clean HDMI output, it’s very well suited to live work too.

DJI Mini 5 Pro

Yes, it’s tiny but it really packs a punch! The picture quality from the DJI Mini 5 Pro is simply astounding and you can take it places it’s bigger siblings cannot go. It can operate in congested areas with very minimal separation from people and deliver true broadcast quality images. It’s also the perfect aircraft for interior work – building walk-throughs etc.
