Aircraft Coordination

Over the years we've been asked to source and coordinate aircraft for Film and TV work. Not just helicopters either - we've arranged aeroplanes, gliders and hot air balloons too.

Our base at Denham aerodrome centres around an 11,000 sq/ft hangar - the perfect location for aircraft filming. With on-site power, catering & facilities and helpful, experienced people to assist, its the ideal place for set up shots and SFX work incorporating blue/green screen.

Flying TV will take your idea from concept to completion, ensuring a successful and safe shooting experience.

Whether you need a helicopter to be the hero in the final escape scene of a drama, or an aeroplane for teaching a dog to fly, we know where to get it. These are just a couple of the requests we’ve had from productions over the years who want a company with experience to ‘just take care of it’.

We have a wealth of knowledge and contacts built up over the past 20 year and have access to many weird and wonderful flying machines and their owners including fast jets, vintage biplanes and stunt aircraft.

Our services also cover aircraft dressing. Working with our trusted partner, we can dress any aircraft up with graphics as required for the role.

Police helicopters, stunt aeroplanes dressed as cartoon characters and aircraft dressed for period dramas such as our work on the massively successful Rivals for Disney Plus.

Once we’ve found the perfect machine and dressed it for the role as neccessary, we will provide the on-set coorination between the flight crew and production team. This is vital for the safety of the aircraft, flight crew and production crew, ensuring an enjoyable and successful shooting experience.
